The Trigg Suite - named after a former owner, Daniel Trigg, a prominent lawyer, who owned the house from 1860 to 1870. His original law office is around the corner from the Love House, now the office of the Virginia Highlands Festival. The Suite is appointed and decorated with an oriental ambience with artifacts from the orient. By this fireplace is an antique oak rocker, a comfortable spot for reading interesting magazines. The fireplace in the Penn Room. There are six fireplaces in the house, each are functional gas-log fireplaces. The Penn Family, the last family to own the house before the present owners, lived in the house from 1910 to 1994.
	The Penn Room is decorated in colonial yellow and green. The furniture is green wrought iron. This room has a gas-log fireplace, a private bath with a jacuzzi-style tub and shower head, and a Wesley-Allen queen size bed. The rate for the Penn Room is $125 per night. The Dunn Room is decorated in Pompeiian red. burgundy, pink and green. The comfortable queen-size windsor bed is hardwood cherry, complemented by a huge armoire, a cheval mirror, bureau and secretaire, all reproductions of hardwood cherry. The beautiful gas-log fireplace is focal point of the room. The private bath with a jacuzzi-style tub and shower head, have a delightful stenciling around the walls of ivy and burgundy florets, It is definitely, the most romantic room at The Love House.
